I-Co’s Value

The Discipline of Collaboration

At I-Co, collaboration is not a method; it is the foundation.
Fundraising is never a solitary act. It succeeds when founders, investors, and strategy move in the same direction, with clarity and intention.

Our value lies in working with you, not merely for you. We introduce you to our network of investment professionals we trust in to accompany the implementation and the growth of your project.

Analysis before capital

At I-Co, value is created before capital is ever discussed.

Fundraising does not fail because of a lack of ambition or visibility.
It fails because projects are exposed to investors before being analytically ready.

Our work begins where most advisory stops:
with deep, fund-side analysis, designed to replicate how investment committees actually assess risk, value and alignment.

Analysis as a core asset

I-Co’s primary contribution is analytical.

Before any investor interaction, we conduct a rigorous review of the project through an investment committee lens, examining in particular:

the internal logic of the investment thesis,

the coherence between strategy, governance and economics,

downside scenarios and execution risks,

structural weaknesses that typically block IC approval,

legal and governance frictions that emerge late in the process — and kill deals.

This analytical work is not preparatory.
It is determinative.

It is the difference between a project that can be presented and one that can be approved.

What this analysis enables ?

Through this work, I-Co enables clients to:

  • understand how their project will be challenged internally by investors,
  • correct critical issues before credibility is tested externally,
  • engage only with investors whose mandates and constraints are compatible,
  • reduce execution risk, renegotiation risk and late-stage failure,
  • enter negotiations from a position of structure rather than urgency.

Our role is to eliminate avoidable rejection.

Expert advisory, not generic fundraising

I-Co provides expert-level advisory, grounded in years of investment and legal practice.

Typical engagements include:

  • Investment readiness analysis (IC-grade diagnostics),
  • Fund and deal structuring (governance, capitalization, allocation of rights),
  • Scenario and risk analysis from an investor perspective,
  • Investor targeting based on mandate compatibility,
  • Negotiation support alongside legal counsel,
  • Coordination through signing and closing, where appropriate.

These interventions require time, judgment and experience.
They are therefore structured as expert advisory mandates, not contingent services.

Who I-Co works with ?

I-Co works with founders and investors who:

  • recognize that rigorous analysis precedes fundraising,
  • are willing to confront structural weaknesses early,
  • value precision over speed,
  • understand that expert preparation reduces long-term cost and risk.

Typical profiles include:

  • founders with operating history or assets,
  • structured holding companies,
  • repeat entrepreneurs,
  • investor-backed projects approaching an institutional phase.

Who I-Co does not work with ?

To preserve analytical integrity, I-Co does not engage with:

  • idea-stage projects,
  • mandates seeking exposure without preparation,
  • fundraising driven by urgency rather than structure,
  • projects unwilling to support expert advisory fees,
  • engagements based solely on success fees.

Analysis cannot be contingent.
It must b
e independent, rigorous and uncompromised.

Why this matters?

Investment committees do not fund narratives.
They fund decisions they can defend.

At I-Co, we act as a filter and an analytical safeguard, ensuring that only projects capable of withstanding institutional scrutiny move forward.

Our fees reflect this role.
They correspond not to time spent, but to risk avoided, credibility preserved and capital protected.
